Activated carbon biomass plant
MIAC, through its wholly owned subsidiary Millennium HI Carbon, LLC, owns an activated carbon plant located in Kawaihae, Hawaii. The plant converts macadamia nut shells into activated carbon which has a diverse range of industrial and consumer applications. The plant was acquired out of bankruptcy and represents over $50 million of investment by the original project developer.
