MILLENNIUM HI CARBON

Activated carbon

MILC, through its wholly owned subsidiary Millennium HI Carbon, LLC, owns an activated carbon plant located in Kawaihae, Hawaii. The plant converts macadamia nut shells into activated carbon which has a diverse range of industrial and consumer applications. The plant was acquired out of bankruptcy and represents over $44 million of investment by the original project developer.

MILC, through its wholly owned subsidiary Millennium Carbon, LLC is currently developing a novel production process for Activated Carbon using a waste stream as feedstock. If
successful, this concept could solve both a waste stream disposal issue while also producing Activated Carbon without the need for the use of such feedstocks as coal. As such, Millennium Carbon believes it developing a sustainable business plan for the production of Activated Carbon.
